A world champion from El Bierzo

Only four drinks in the country have achieved distinction among more than 1000 participants
Forzudo has just been proclaimed world champion once again. Three years after his older brother, the Forzudo Red, was awarded the double gold medal at the Brussels World Competition, the white one, with the Reineta apple, has also won the gold medal.
Forzudo white has been awarded as one of the best vermouths in the world at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the Spirit Selection; an annual competition in which more than 1000 participants compete to be the best in their category. This year, only 4 drinks from the country – a red vermouth, a whisky and a brandy, in addition to Forzudo – have managed to attract the attention of the judges and achieve the distinction that accredits them as one of the best products in the world in their category.
This award comes just three years after its big brother, the red vermouth, won the double gold medal in the same competition. On that occasion Forzudo managed to present itself as one of the best in the world in its category just a few months after it came out on the market. Now he has achieved this with his new creation, the white vermouth, whose base is the reineta apple, so typical of El Bierzo.
